Where we last left off, Armani made a point that two feet of bed between them wasn't going to protect her from him. Karlea began to think dirty thoughts before falling fast asleep...

Armani watched the rising and falling of her chest as she slept, listening in on her steady heartbeat. So perfectly human, he thought. There was so much he had to share with her and tell her, but he needed her level of resistance to drop a few pegs. He admired her strong will to show him she had a choice in matters. She was easily the strongest human he had ever come across. But he was certain that her game of doing the exact opposite of what he said was going to drive him insane, and in a more serious situation, get her killed. 

He had sensed what his words of bending her to his will, had done to her. Turning her on instantly. He was determined to get her to release her dark and dirty side with him. Again, her resistance to him needing to be knocked down a few pegs, but the attraction was there.

She went to respond but stayed silent, the way he had said, 'bend her to his will', made her think dirty thoughts and feel things, her body betraying her. She settled back into the pillows, trying her best to ignore it. When she opened her eyes, Armani had closed the gap between them.
"You know I sensed that, right?" He asked, looking at her.
"Yeah, I know." She replied.
"Get some sleep, you'll need your rest to keep resisting."
Armani kissed her gently on her forehead. Karlea sunk into the comfiness of his memory foam bed and fell fast asleep.

Welcome to Weekend Writing Warriors / Snippet Sunday! 
Where we last left off, Karlea was edging herself as close to the end of the bed as she could, trying to make everything hard for Armani, no matter how ridiculous it might be. He last line was that she didn't have to sleep on the edge of the bed, Karlea speaks first...

"I know."
"I mean, you shouldn't practically fall off the bed, just because you don't want to be near me, we're adults, I think we can handle it." Armani said, as he typed a text message on his phone. 
"No, I'm human, you're a vampire, I can't trust you." She said. 
Armani looked up from his phone and chuckled. 
"Yes, because two feet of bed is going to protect you when I can be next you faster than you blink and completely bend you to my will...if I chose to.

I can't believe its September already. I only have a few more days off before I return to work for the school year. With that being said, I will make the rounds as soon as I can, I'm doing a lot with my kiddos this week before they return to school.

Welcome to Weekend Writing Warriors / Snippet Sunday!

We continue where we left of two weeks ago. Karlea is driving Armani a bit crazy...

Armani rubbed his temples and let out another breath. "At least take off the tattered thing before climbing into bed."
"Fine." She said, before climbing back off the bed. She tugged on the dress, it pooled around her feet easily. She grabbed the sheet she had dropped on the floor earlier and wrapped herself in it. 
"You were the one who tattered the thing in the first place."
"Yes, I am well aware." He said with a slight smile, as he watched her climb back up on the bed and take a place next to him, only with the biggest gap she could manage between them before almost falling off the bed.
Armani rolled his eyes, "You do know that we did way more intimate and devious things last night and this morning, that you don't have to sleep on the edge of the bed?"

Welcome to another week of Weekend Writing Warriors / Snippet Sunday!

Where we last left off, Karlea was driving Armani crazy by being defiant. He recommended she get some more sleep, and she refused...

"You're lucky I'm in a nice mood, so I'm going to let that slide. Tomorrow, however, will be a very different story." Armani said. "Let me just remind you that although you feel great right now, your body is still human. It will collapse from exhaustion, you had quite a night last night."
"Don't remind me." Karlea replied as she stepped towards the bed, starting to climb up on the bunched up comforter.
"What are you doing?"
"Taking a nap." She answered with a 'duh' tone to her voice.

I think she's determined to drive him crazy in every sort of way she can. ;)

"I suggest you get some more sleep and get on vampire hours. I'm taking you out for a night on the town, all night." Armani said, putting his feet up on the bed. 
"I'm good." Karlea replied.
Armani rolled his eyes, "Going to fight me on everything, I see."
"Yup. Why not?" Karlea smiled. 
Armani let out a long breath that he didn't need to survive, but with her he did...

Where we last left off, Karlea and Armani were drinking from each other...

Armani gently pulled away from her neck as she pulled away from his wrist, both of them using their fingers to wipe the blood off their lips as they faced each other.
Karlea shook her head, "This is my life now."
"Its not so bad." Armani winked; he eyed her torn dress. "As much as I would love to have you running around here naked all the time, you need some new clothes."
"I have clothes, they're in Manhattan." Karlea said with her attitude.
"I'm not taking you back there, just to get your clothes, when I can buy you all new ones."
"Right." She replied, rolling her eyes. 

Ughh...I wanted to post more, but this is 10 and I have to stop.

We continue on where we left off last week, where Karlea told Armani that she wasn't going to make anything easy for him...

"Besides, "Armani added, raising an eyebrow, "I never said I didn't have ways of handling you when you don't make things easy."
Karlea narrowed her eyes at him as Armani raised his wrist to his mouth, biting it. He walked over to Karlea, wrapping his bleeding wrist around the front of her as he stood behind her. 
"You best drink." He commanded. "The withdrawal symptoms you're feeling are only going to get worse and more intense. 
She wanted to resist but she needed it, she placed her lips on his wound and let the blood run down her throat, a moan escaping Armani. 
He pushed her hair to the side and whispered in her ear, "So our journey begins."
He planted a few soft kisses on her neck before sucking on her skin, his fangs entering her as he did.

We continue on where we left off last week, where Karlea admitted to Armani that he was right...Jake left her because he didn't want to be with her for an eternity...

"Truth hurts, doesn't it?" Armani replied. "At least you came to your senses."
Karlea stared at him, her eyes becoming daggers through him. She took a few steps, closing the gap between them.
With a certainty that Armani had not ever heard from her, she said while poking him hard in the chest, "We'll do this, but I will NOT make it easy for you."
Armani's lips curled into a devilish smile. "From what I know of you, I wouldn't expect anything less, love."
The same devilish grin creeping across her face.

I apologize to everyone. I tried to get to everyone's snippets and lost track of the week. I also lost track of which ones I read/commented on, I was all super confused. *facepalm* So, I will try again this week.

"You didn't tell him where you were, you hung up instead. I'm impressed." Armani commented.
Karlea fought back her tears and boldly said, "It didn't feel right. Your blood and my stupid innate loyalty to it, pulled me away."
She thought about Jake, anger taking over. "You're right, though, he left me. He walked away. All because in the end, deep down he didn't want to turn me, after everything we had been through together. He didn't want to spend eternity with me."

"Jake, you don't need to worry about me anymore. I'm not yours."
She hung up as Jake yelled her name. 

She wasn’t his anymore and wouldn’t be ever again.

She belonged to Armani. Her blood was his and his blood burned deep inside of her. It was pulling her back to him, the strong, unbreakable bond between them. It didn’t feel right going back Jake, what felt right was staying with Armani.

Armani entered back into the room, taking the phone from her shaking hand. She watched as he went out on the patio and threw the phone as far as he could, returning to the bedroom.

Welcome to Weekend Writing Warriors / Snippet Sunday! I have been M.I.A for awhile. School year is over and its summer, I can finally focus on other things.

Where I last left off in this story, Armani was letting Karlea call Jake, but she was having very mixed feelings about calling him. RIght before this snippet below, Karlea was having trouble remembering Jake's phone number, so Armani drank her blood to find out the number for her...

She hit the call button, her feeling getting stronger as the phone rang.
"Karlea?!" Jake answered.
She stayed silent.
"Karlea?!" Jake shouted.
"Jake..." Karlea said quietly.
"Where are you? I can't feel your presence anymore, Vaughn and I have been looking everywhere for you..."

What will Karlea's response be?

Welcome to Weekend Writing Warriors / Snippet Sunday! And Happy Spring! I am so excited it is April and winter is (hopefully) behind us.

Where we last left off, Armani brought Karlea a cell phone and was going to let her call Jake, only she couldn't remember his phone number...

Armani walked towards her, he took the phone from her hands. He took her hand and brought her wrist to his mouth. He bit down, taking a few sips before letting go. He dialed the rest of Jake's number and handed her the phone.
"Thanks.." Karlea trailed off as she looked at the number.
It still didn't look familiar to her. She paused before hitting the call button, a strange feeling creeping up in her. Part of her wanted to hit the button and start screaming for Jake into the phone and the other part of her wanted to throw the phone as far as she could.
Armani vanished in front of her, giving her some privacy.

Karlea picked up the phone and looked at it...this could be her freedom. She went to dial...212...her head was such a mess that she couldn't remember Jake's number. She knew it, she memorized as soon as she put the number in her phone...but now she couldn't.
"Is there a problem?"Armani asked.
"I-I can't remember his phone number. I know it, I always have, but my head is such a mess."

Karlea looked at it. It wasn't hers. Hers was still in Manhattan somewhere. And it wasn't Armani's that she remembered.
"You can call your precious Jake. If he still wants you and comes for you, you are free to go. But his blood can't help you. Hopefully he's smart enough to tell you not to kill yourself."
Karlea picked up the phone and looked at it...this could be her freedom.

We continue on where we last left off a few weeks ago...Karlea is feeling the after effects of her blood high. I think where we last left off, she was asking to see Jake.

Armani scooped her off the floor and set her on her feet. He looked at her and shook his head.
"Stay here." He commanded, and then vanished. 
Karlea looked around and quickly ran for the hallway as best as she could.  She felt Armani's grip on her arm as he dragged her back into the bedroom. 
"You're not going anywhere. I told you to stay here, I would prefer not to have to use mind control on you, but I will if I have to next time."
"Here." He said, as Karlea watched him drop a cell phone on the bed.

We continue on where we left off last week...

Karlea threw on what was left of her dress, just to be clothed, plus she was also deathly cold. Her dress was tattered and torn from everything she had endured over the last few days. This being bound and owned part of the vampire world, she was not familiar with. Jake and Vaughn never treated her like this. 

“I need to get away from you! I need Jake, he can tell me what to do.”
“Jake can’t help you. There is nothing he can do. Besides are you sure he still wants you? He did leave you alone in the club.”

(Side note: Blogger formatted this last line weird. Idk why, not fighting with it.)

I'm still sick, on round #2 of antibiotics, so between work and the kids, I'm having a hard time keeping up. This round of antibiotics is stronger, they make me super tired.

"Why would you do this to me? I don't want this with you."
"That's not what you've said every time we've been in bed together. Besides, Love, it never happens the way we want it too. I didn't ask to be turned, I just was. Its just how it works. I wanted you, you weren't bound to any vampire. Now you are mine, now you are bound and owned."
Karlea crawled toward the heap of her of dress on the floor, her muscles felt like they had a death grip on her body. Her head was such a mess to reality, she felt pain but nothing felt real anymore.

Anger took over her and she swatted Armani's arm away.
"I can beat this." She said, trying to get ahold of herself.
"No, you can't, Karlea. This isn't like some human drug addiction where you'll go through withdrawl and come out on the other side okay."
Karlea pulled away from him, taking a step before collapsing onto the carpet.
"It will get worse and worse. Eventually you will blackout and lose all control, you might even kill people. After days and days of no blood and no human sustenance, you will die a very slow death. It's either drink or slowly perish, there is no other choice."

Welcome to Weekend Writing Warriors / Snippet Sunday!

Where we left off last left off, Karlea wasn't feeling to well and thought she was dying. But it turns out it's a consequence of her blood high...

Karlea looked at herself, naked, in the mirror. Her skin was even paler than normal, her eyes were sunken in with dark circles around them. Her lips and pupils were as white as her skin. She looked like a porcelain doll.
"This is what you wanted from Jake and didn't get." Armani bit his wrist and held it out for her to drink.
"Once you drink, you won't feel any of this. Everyday you must drink."
She eyed the blood, the urge to drink was so great and pulling her to his wrist.
