WeWriWa o2.22.15

Welcome to Weekend Writing Warriors/Snippet Sunday!

We are going to pick up this week's snippet right where we left off last week. I think I promised that this week's would be more fun, so let's get to it. Where we left off Armani asked Karlea if she was okay. (Edited to fit)

"Other than my blood boiling, yes," Karlea replied.
"With our blood bonding, its your natural instinct to protect me," Armani replied, slightly smiling. He sensed how feverish she really was.
"Right." Karlea said, not sure how she felt about that.
"Take off your clothes," he said.
"Excuse me?"
"You heard me," Armani smirked...

Awwww...I have to stop there. So much more to share. What do you think will happen next?

Thanks for reading and please comment, I love reading your comments, and I always reply back. Thank you, once again, for all the great comments last week. This is my first novel and its still a WIP, so the comments really help and let me know if I'm going in the right direction.

Welcome to Weekend Writing Warriors/Snippet Sunday!

I hope everyone had a lovely Valentine's Day! We won't get into my politics of this day, but yes I had a nice one :)

We are going to pick up right where we left off last week... (Edited to fit 8 sentences)

“Now, you’re gonna listen to me,” Armani said, in a tone that should have frightened Karlea, but didn't,“you’re going to finish the job I gave you, then we will discuss your payment. And you’re not going to come back into my place uninvited.”
Armani pushed the stake in deeper and pulled it out as Mikal yelled in pain. Karlea watched as Armani drove the stake back in deep, and then pulled it out again; he did this a few more times, torturing Mikal.
“Go!” Armani commanded.
Before Karlea could blink her eyes, Mikal was gone.
Armani rushed to her side, "Are you alright?"

I don't want to stop there, but I have to. I promise next week will be way more fun, think you can hold on that long?

Thanks for reading and please comment, I love reading your comments! And thanks for all the great comments last week, again. Makes me :)

WeWriWa o2.o8.15

Welcome to Weekend Writing Warriors/Snippet Sunday!

This week picks up right where we left off last week...
As soon as Karlea threw Mikal off of her, Armani was on top of him, throwing punches.
"Our bloodbond is strong, you should have never threatened my life!" Armani yelled. "And you don't lay a hand on my future progeny!"
All it took was a glance from Armani, and Karlea knew exactly what to do. With her strength, she broke a leg of the wooden coffee table, making sure to have the wood split in such a way that it left a very sharp point.
"Armani!"
With grace and agility, she threw it to him, Armani catching it without having to look; he slammed the stake into Mikal, just missing his heart.

Must. Stop. There. Thanks for reading and please comment, I love reading your comments! And thank you for all the great comments last week!

WeWriWa o2.o1.15

Welcome to Weekend Writing Warriors/Snippet Sunday! Happy February I guess! (I'm writing this on a Saturday)

If you did not have a chance to read last week's post, you may want to before you read the one below. Last week's post tells you who has Karlea :) This week's continues right where that one left off.

Armani felt it, her blood boiling, the final evidence that the bloodbond worked.
"I would not do that." Armani said, Mikal looking at him. "Piss her off, by threatening my life. She's extremely full of my blood."
As Mikal listened to her heart beat and smelled the mix of her human blood and Armani's, he became even more unsteady. Armani glanced at Karlea, as if speaking to her with his stare. Immediately the fury within her took over, and she used all of her strength to throw Mikal off of her.

Too bad he didn't pay attention to the scent of her blood. He's obviously not a professional at this.
Thanks for reading! And please comment, I love reading your comments!
