WeWriWa 1o.o5.14

Welcome to Weekend Writing Warriors/Snippet Sunday!
Okay, well, its only Snippet Sunday, I missed the deadline for WeWriWa again. Its been a few weeks since I posted last, between moving and the kids starting school, things have been crazy. But I need to get back into a good routine of posting to this blog.
So, this week's snippet picks up where the last one left off. Armani and Karlea are out on his penthouse balcony watching the storm coming in off the lake.
She went to take another step closer to the balcony.
"Not too close." Armani said as he pulled her back, he turned her around and looked into her eyes.
"You will not go too close to the edge of the balcony, nor too close to the fire.”
“And you will not try to set me on fire." Armani added, slightly joking.
Armani broke eye contact with her and spun her back around. She watched the lightening, his arm around her waist sending waves through her. She drifted off to Armani leaning her over the balcony backwards. Her dress hiked up as he fucked her fully clothed. He roughly grabbed her ass as he slammed himself into her, a pleasurable scream escaping her and echoing in the night.
Oh no, her blood dreams are getting stronger ;) Thanks for reading and please comment, I love reading your comments!

WeWriWa o8.31.14

Welcome to Weekend Writing Warriors/Snippet Sunday! Well, Snippet Sunday again this week, I fell asleep before finishing my blog post last night.

Anyways, we continue with BloodLust: Armani, where we left off last, Armani and Karlea were headed outside to sit on the patio. A skipped a small section in between where Armani released her from his control on her, allowing her to leave the room.

On the patio a small fire burned in the fire pit. The patio was large and looked as if it wrapped around almost all of the penthouse. Karlea could see all the lit up skyscrapers, in the far distance a midwest storm was moving in, flashes of light reflecting off the clouds. Armani noticed her watching the impending storm. Armani stood behind her and slipped his arm around her waist.
"Beautiful isn't it?"
"Yeah." She replied.

WeWriWa o8.24.14

Welcome to Weekend Writing Warriors/Snippet Sunday! Well, Snippet Sunday anyways this week.
Apparently, I slept through a 6.o earthquake last night, probably the biggest one we've had since I moved here. How did I miss that? I'm a total vampire lately and was so out dead last night.

Anyways, we continue BloodLust: Armani, where we left off last; Armani leaving Karlea with the image of him changing his clothes...

She was completely lost in a dream of Armani shirtless in his bedroom, when Armani appeared before her.
"Karlea..."
Karlea jumped. She stared at him, he was wearing the same pants and a black t-shirt, she had never seen him in a black t-shirt before, only his gothic suit and tie. He looked like a hot rock star ready for a photo shoot, tattoos covering his arms.
"Hey." She said, trying not to smile.
"Hey," He said, "come with me out on the patio." AS much as she hates him, I think she is so having issues controlling herself!

WeWriWa o8.1o.14

Welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors/Snippet Sunday! Its always exciting for me to write this post because I get to choose what snippet to share and how to edit it.

Where we last left off, Karlea was high on Armani's blood and she kissed him!
As she pulled away from the kiss, she jumped out of her daydream fueled by his blood.
Armani smirked, "Are you okay?"
Karlea shook her head yes.
"Dreaming about me?" Armani said, her hand still on his, "My blood is good for that, they will get stronger each time."
Karlea pulled her hand away from his, this wasn't good, she wasn't ready to deal with the dreams.
Armani got up, "I will be right back, I'm going to change my clothes."
Armani disappeared, leaving Karlea to her dreams of Armani undressing; she hated him, she knew he did that on purpose.
Ah...so it was all a daydream. But trust me the daydreams will get stronger ;) Thanks for reading! And please comment, I love reading your comments!

WeWriWa o8.o3.14

Welcome to Weekend Writing Warriors/Snippet Sunday!

Where we last left off, Armani was swinging Karlea around the room in perfect swing dance fashion. We continue on to after their little dance :)
(Totally edited to fit)

When the song ended, Armani set her down in the black chair, he grabbed the wine glasses and sat on the arm of the chair next to her.
"You're good," She said, sipping the wine.
"Ive had many years to practice," Armani replied.
Karlea sat back in the chair, her body slightly resting on him, her fingers clawed at the arm of the chair as more waves passed through her, until Armani took her hand in his and let her fingers dig into his hand.
"I feel so good," She said.
"Let go then, be crazy and enjoy the high."
Karlea closed her eyes, she lifted herself from the chair, turned around, and knelt on it to face Armani. She quickly placed her hands on his face and planted a kiss on his lips.

I don't really have anything to say after that, other than omg she kissed him ;) Thanks for reading and please comment, I love reading your comments!

You can read more great authors here and here Spent last weekend in Los Angeles again. I think every time I go Los Angeles it gets more and more epic. This time it was for a terror ebm band, C-Lekktor, and it was nothing short of amazing. Met the band - made some new friends, built on existing friendships that were formed at the show last month and one with someone I met my very first time to Los Angeles last year, networked, and so many possibilities started for the future. Really need to write blog posts about these shows. On another note, CampNaNoWriMo ended. I didn't come anywhere close to finishing my novel, but it did get me writing more than a paragraph a week and I'm probably going to be writing as much as I have been since CampNanoWriMo started from here on out :) Enjoy your week!

Harajuku Kiss by Linda Hamonou

Hi everyone! How is your week going?
I am trying something new this week that I'm hoping to do more often on this blog, and that is hosting other authors with works to promote. So the very first author is someone I know from Weekend Writing Warriors (WeWriWa) and Snippet Sunday - please welcome Linda Hamonou with her new book,
Harajuku Kiss.

About Harajuku Kiss
At times, life can be so depressing. She is walking her usual recovery tour in Harajuku, finishing with a crepe, trying to forget that her boyfriend dumped her once again for the week-end... When the unthinkable happens... A boy stops in front of her in the street and kisses her, in the middle of the street, before running away.
Trying to discover more about him, she is dragged into a dangerous game of mystery. A biologist has been murdered and a deadly virus is on the loose. First suspect: the mysterious Harajuku's stranger.

Author Bio:

Born in November 1983 in Brittany, France, Linda Hamonou spent a lot of time lost in Agatha Christie and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's novels. She entered university to study physics and obtained her PhD at Queen's University Belfast in 2009. Her studies allowed her to travel to Europe and America. She then moved to Japan and after three years doing research in Tokyo, she is currently doing a new postdoc in Sendai, Japan.

Excerpt:
The first time they had taken him there, he found it comical.
Do you know that there is seven floors up to Heaven and seven floors down to Hell? Going down to the eighth floor, you must be leading me to some different sort of Hell,” he had said.
And he had laughed and they had laughed as well. It seemed like a funny joke to make at the time, something to create a nice atmosphere between him and his employers, but it wasn’t funny anymore.
The elevator stopped on the fifth floor underground for a few seconds. It was always stopping there for no reason. Kaji had never stepped out on that floor or any other floors in the almost full year he had been working for the company, he had just gone down, straight to Hell. The door opened to a dark corridor, the same as his minus the light and with a strong smell of ammonium. He was still happy not to work here, the smell would have given him a headache if he had stayed longer. Once again, nobody appeared and Kaji pressed the button to close the door without bothering to look outside, this gesture had become a habit.
The elevator stopped at destination this time. He remembered the first time he had been here. After the Hell joke, it had seemed more like a paradise. The light was as bright as in the elevator. It was supposed to imitate the sunshine at noon.
"For better mood and performances," his employers had said.
