Last week, we left off where Karlea was hanging from a hook from inside Armani's penthouse, knowing she wasn't in Manhattan anymore, she asked him where she was. (Edited to fit - I hate doing this, sorry)
Armani stood up and walked over to the window, late daylight was creeping through the blinds; he lifted the blinds for Karlea to see the great skyline in front of her, she squinted against the setting sun, but as she adjusted, she looked at the skyscrapers.
"Chicago." She said.
Armani shook his head in agreement as he shut the blinds.
"Is this really necessary?" Karlea asked, looking up towards her bound wrists on the hook.
"For now, but it isn't permanent. Although, you look beautiful hanging there," Armani smiled.
Oh Armani always has to tease ;) He's holdng himself back so hard, when all he wants to do is rip her apart ;)
Thanks for reading! Please comment, I love reading comments, and since this is a WIP, it helps me make notes for edits (although, I know the first sentence needs to be broken back up into a paragraph ;) )

DeleteI'm still trying to figure out what Armani's up too. Enslave her? Torture before he destroys her? Maybe he hasn't decided himself yet. Something about her is keeping him interested enough to keep her.
ReplyDeleteHistory Sleuth's Milk Carton Murders
Maybe all of the above ;)
DeleteHmmm... vampires, setting sun... is there going to be a party, I wonder?
