WeWriWa o2.19.17

Welcome to Weekend Writing Warriors / Snippet Sunday!

Thank you for all the great, fun comments last week!
We continue right where we left off last week - I believe the last line was Karlea thinking to herself, how many times they had done it, after she had tried taking a step...

"I don't know how many times we fucked exactly, I lost count at some point, but it was definitely until the sun rose this morning." Armani replied, reading her thoughts. "You wanted to keep going, and I was more than willing, but your human body collapsed, you needed to rest."
Karlea stared at him as he sat up repositioning the sheet, last night still remaining a total blank for her.
"Here, I'll get them for you." Armani said as he got up, wrapping the sheet around him. Karlea noticed all the bloodstains on the sheets, the bottom sheet torn in spots. She watched as Armani padded slowly out of the room. He disappeared and she tried to shake the image of him wrapped in a sheet from her head, he had walked slowly on purpose. As soon as she did, he reappeared in front of her holding her dress, pulling her into him.

I think she may be having some difficulties there. ;)

Thanks for reading! I actually just re-wrote this scene after the comments last week, because I never really liked what I originally had. And if you comment, I will definitely read & comment on yours!

You can read more amazing authors here and here.

I have set a goal to finish writing this damn book by the end of August. I can do this...

I am once again looking to blog more again at this blog and have it completely focused on writing. So with that being said, I am looking for more Blog Hops and writing challenges to join. Definitely will be re-joining Vampire Friday again! On the other side of that, I would like to feature other authors - interviews, cover reveals, releases, guest posts, whatever I can do to help you. I'll done it in the past and it was a lot of fun. Plus I've known some of you online for years now (I can't believe its been that long since I first discovered Six Sentence Sunday! Oh, my!) So, please leave a comment if you are interested or you can email me at: sirenxstar23@gmail.com

  2. Sounds as though they had a rough night, with the bloodstains and tears in the sheet. Clearly he's not human, with the mind reading?

  8. The most interested line to me was the bit about 'your human body collapsed'. Not knowing the context, this hinted at so much backstory.

    1. Yay! Thank you for that! I haven't posted any blurb about the story and probably should do that.

  10. Does she not remember any of the fun stuff? That would be a shame. :-)

    1. No, you didn't miss anything. Truthfully I've been forgetting to add in my blurb for those not familiar with my story. But I think it will all be figured out in the next snippet anyway.

      Thanks for reading!
