I just wrote this snippet. It picks up where I left off months ago from the story of Armani & Karlea, where they decided to have breakfast in bed. This is afterward.
I just wrote this snippet. It picks up where I left off months ago from the story of Armani & Karlea, where they decided to have breakfast in bed. This is afterward.
Karlea awoke, everything was spinning. The slight rays of daylight, coming through the blinds, stung her eyes and made her head hurt more. Everything in her body hurt, her ears ringing. She was having trouble breathing, her lungs were filled with shards of pain every short breath she took. Was this death? Was she finally dying?
She slid out of Armani's bed, onto the floor. She looked up to find him, clothed, standing over her, watching her cautiously.
"Am I dying?" She said slowly as he knelt down in front of her.
