Hey you awesome readers, I decided to make a holiday extra post to accompany my WeWriWa / Snippet post.
So, I hope you enjoy!
With the side of her face pressed against his chest, Karlea stared at his skin. She was feeling too much at once - euphoric from his blood and the sex, her body tired, and her brain overworking that he said he loved her. Did she want him to? Did she feel the same as him? Or did she still hate him? He kidnapped her...but his blood was in her, pulling her to him, and his blood felt so good. His fingers gently caressed her shoulder, still managing to send sparks through her.
Armani pulled up the comforter, covering them both. He continued to caress her shoulder, the warmth of the comforter soothing her to sleep. Armani watched as her breathing pattern changed, he kissed her head knowing she had fallen asleep. He watched her sleep for hours, trying to formulate what he was going to do with her now.
I think the morning after might happen next post. That should be interesting. ;)
I have more written, but with this scene and next few ones, I have been re-writing slowly because I really didn't like the way they were originally. So, more to come next week.
I'm writing really slowly because I have a few other projects I'm working on and running a co-op art space - my writing doesn't happen as much right now, and I am working on three other stories (The 1st BloodLust, a serial killer story, and this story in Armani's p.o.v- it all depends on what voice I am feeling for the writing time. But I am enjoying it all and I love my work as Programming Director at the art space.
Dominate your new year!

I missed the cut off for WeWriWa, but I will still post for Snippet Sunday. I hope everyone had a great holiday!
So now, here is some Armani & Karlea to warm you up on this cold (yes, its really cold in California!), winter holiday Sunday. Enjoy...
Back in Armani's bed, they gripped each other tight as they finished. Armani collapsed onto her chest as she wrapped her arms around him and caught her breath. Armani moved and laid down next to her, pulling her onto him. He wrapped his arms around her, holding her tightly. Armani looked down at her, watching the rising and falling of her chest as she breathed. He tuned in to her heartbeat. It all made her so perfectly human. He tried to hold onto the human feeling he had felt, it was difficult, getting mixed in with his need for blood and lust, but at least he was able to feel it in the slightest.
He had to protect her no matter what the cost, even if it meant losing his immortality. Even if she was turned vampire.
Thanks for reading! I made a Holiday Extra post, for those of you who want more of these two star crossed lovers ;)

Thursday Taster 24.12.15
Welcome to Thursday Taster! Its been a few weeks, but I am excited to share more of my serial killer story.
"Table for two?" She asked, unhappily.
"Yes, please." I replied.
She grabbed two menus and silently stomped her way over to an empty table, the restaurant clientele stopping whatever they were doing to look at us, most of them in fancy dresses and suits. This was mostly what i dealt with for hospital functions and outings with colleagues from the hospital. It was boring and dull. I would much rather have a rebel like Amber by my side.
I held out the chair for Amber. She sat down and I slightly pushed her chair in.
"Why, thank you, good sir." She said in a fun tone.
"You're welcome, my lady." I replied as I slightly bowed.
She laughed as I sat down.
"Everyone is looking at us." She said.
"Thats because they wish they could have fun like us. I deal with shit like this all the time for hospital functions."
"I don't know how you do it."
"I just make sure to have lots of outside hobbies that keep me happy. And something to look forward to at the end of the night."
"Like what?" She asked curious.
"Like....golf."
"Golf?! That's fun?" She laughed.
"No. Not really. But i do like photography."
We were thankfully interrupted by a waitress, who looked younger than Amber, but with a look that must have drained her daddy's bank account.
"Hi, my name is Diane, i'll be your server." She said as she looked at Amber's dress. "What i can get you to drink?"
I smiled, "A bottle of your best red wine, please."
She shook her head and walked off, walking over to the hostess. They spoke to each other briefly, before the hostess made her way over to the table.
"Sir, I'm going to have to pre-authorize your card for your meal tonight. As a precaution."
Amber sneered at her.
"That's fine." I said as I pulled out my wallet. I was going to give her my American Express card, when I figured it would be better to just give her my bank debit card. I handed it over and without saying thank you, the hostess went into the back.
"They think we can't pay this." I said, shaking my head.
"Wow, how prissy." Amber said.
She looked over and noticed the old gentlemen sitting near her who was staring at her.
"What?!" She said, loudly, in a punk rock kind of tone.
He shook his head and went back to eating his tiny portion of salmon.
"What do you think want to eat?" I asked. We both opened our menus and looked at the fancy names of dishes that cost a fortune for a bite sized portion.
"Are you sure you want do this?" She asked, her eyes questioning the menu. "This is really expensive."
"Its fine." I said, smiling. "Did you forget I work as a cardiac surgeon? This is nothing."
"Well, that's good. Because a paramedic salary really can't." She paused, "Or...now...no salary."
She made a unhappy face. It was like it just hit her that she was suddenly unemployed.
"Has it not hit you yet?" I asked.
"No."
"So, you haven't thought about what you're going to do next?"
"No, not yet. I figured I'd give myself a day. A paramedic's pay really isn't great for the work we do."
"No, its really not. What was your specialty?"
"Advanced cardiac."
"Really?" I was surprised, but looking at her work this morning, I shouldn't have been.
"Yeah." She replied, shaking her head as I stared at her.
She was so perfect...
"Columbia's med school is great." I said, smirking, "Especially their surgeon department."
"Yeah. Is that where you went?" She laughed.
I shook my head.
"We'll see, I'll think about it. I kind of like the front line, minus the pay." She said. She looked into my eyes as she spoke.
The waitress interrupted us as she set down two glasses, pouring our wine. She set down the bottle on the table for us and asked what we wanted to order. I looked at Amber.
"I have no idea. You can order for us, since you're so used to this and have a surgeon's salary, Dr. Emerson." Amber said as she stuck her tongue out at me.
I noticed the waitress' eyes widen a bit when Amber said surgeon's salary.
I laughed, covering the fact that I wanted that tongue inside my mouth and on other parts of my body.

WeWriWa 20.12.15
And Happy Holidays! Omg, the next post I write will be after the big holiday, its that close. I am so not ready.
Are you ready for more Armani???
This is what real love feels like, Armani thought to himself, never experiencing this in his life, even before he was made immortal. He wondered if he would be able to carry this with him to real world, to transcend the boundaries of this plane into the other.
Karlea stared at him, "You love me?" she questioned.
Armani ignored the question, "I've never been able to come here, I'm only able to project others. But apparently you do something to me that i don't understand."
Karlea rested her head on his chest.
"We need to go back. I don't want to, but this takes a lot of energy."
Of course he ignored the question. I want to share more, but I have to stop there.

WeWriWa o6.12.15
Welcome to Weekend Writing Warriors / Snippet Sunday!
I took a few weeks off, not really sure why; I was kind of busy and I was in Los Angeles two weeks ago to see my favorite legendary industrial band, Skinny Puppy...I don't feel like any of those are a good enough excuse for my absence.
Anyway, we continue where we left off last time. Reminder here.
Karlea last asked if this was real or not...
Armani shook his head and smiled as he answered,"Yeah, its real."
"What is this place?" Karlea asked as she ran her fingers across his chest, half expecting her fingers to go through him as if he were a ghost.
"Remember when I took you in Manhattan? I said I would take you to another plane of existence, this is it."
"I feel amazing." Karlea said as she pressed her naked body against Armani's, the sensation euphoric, rippling through her.
"I feel human here." Armani admitted, "No hunger for blood, no lust, just normal... And love for you."
Wait...did he just say the L word? O.O

Thursday Taster 03.12.15
Welcome to Thursday Taster!
Its been awhile since I've posted. But we will continue on with my serial killer's date...
I started the car and turned around to exit her street. It was hard to keep my eyes on the road, I wanted to stare at her instead. Half the time imagining her half naked, hanging in my basement, begging me to stop. From the angle that she was sitting, I had a nice view of her bare legs as I drove.
"So, where are we going?" She asked.
"I don't know. I figured somewhere in Manhattan. What are you in the mood for?"
"Hmmm...I don't know." She replied, thinking.
"We don't just have to do dinner, we could do something else, too." I said.
"Yeah, like what?" She asked sarcastically as she looked at me.
"That's not what I meant. I meant like a movie, or sports bar, or something."
"You so have a thing for doctors." I sarcastically added.
"Yes, because scrubs are so sexy." She joked.
"Oh, really? Too bad I'm not wearing mine."
"I don't sleep with doctors." she replied.
"Why not?"
"They're too close to my line of work."
"As of today, you don't have a job." I reminded her as I smiled at her.
"Well, shit." She laughed.
I entered onto the Brooklyn Bridge and headed towards the city.
"So, what will it be tonight?"
"I agreed to dinner," she replied plainly, "anything after that is my own free will."
"Yes, because I twisted your arm into this." I retorted.
"You took the time out of your busy day to stitch up my arm, I felt obligated to repay you. Although, its probably the only reason you stitched up my arm."
"Maybe." I flashed her a big joking smile. She laughed and shook her head, looking out her window as the car came to a halt in the traffic.
"How is it doing?" I said seriously, reaching for her arm. She let me touch the bandage and slightly lift the gauze.
"Its sore. Very sore. But I'm ignoring it."
"Painkillers?" I asked as traffic began moving again.
"No. If I had done that, I would be completely loopy right now, which means this...thing... wouldn't work."
"You mean date?"
She blushed, "This date wouldn't work."
"Then we would have just gotten take out and chilled at your place. I would take care of you." I said as I touched her fingers of her left hand, slightly gripping them. I expected her to pull away, but she left them, our fingers lightly intertwining as I drove.
I headed up towards Hell's Kitchen to find a good restaurant that wasn't one I frequented. I didn't want anyone to recognize me and see me with this girl, in case she went missing.
"So, this is a date?" She said, breaking the silence.
"Well, I did ask you to dinner. So, yeah its a date. I mean I don't know you well enough yet to say we're just two friends having dinner. Maybe after tonight I will." I replied.
"I don't know you either. You could be some sort of serial killer." She joked.
I tried my best to let it not show that her comment bothered me. Truthfully, she had no clue about me, but part of me wanted to punch her in the face, pull her hair, and tie her hands together as she screamed.
I shook my head and laughed, "Do you have a thing for serial killers? Between that comment and about drugging the chocolate today."
"No, I just like messing with you." She smiled.
"Yeah, well, you're doing a pretty good job."
The other part of me liked how bold and fun she was.
"Did you tell anyone you were with me?" I joked, "You know, in case I turn out to be some kind of serial killer?"
"No. I think I can handle myself."
Perfect.
"You don't want to fuck me, I'll kill you." She added with sarcasm.
Intriguing.
"Yeah, how is that?" I had to ask.
She stared at me for moment and then pulled away with slight sadness in her eyes.
"I don't know." She smiled.
"With what? Twenty cc's of sodium chloride?" I laughed.
"Yeah, exactly." She laughed back. "That shit burns when it goes through your veins."
I drove down a street lined with restaurants of all different kind of cuisine.
"Well, what should it be?" I asked, gesturing towards the restaurants as we drove slowly past.
I stopped in front of a really fancy restaurant, Per Se.
"How about that?" I pointed.
She looked, "That really fancy one?"
"Yeah. I told you we would have to go to a really fancy place earlier. I mean I'm not dressed for it either. We can crash it."
"Alright," she smiled, "let's do it."
With some Irish luck, I found a place to park which is impossible in Manhattan. I rushed over to her side of the car to open the door and help her out of the car.
"Thank you. Most wouldn't do that." She said.
"Yeah, well, I'm proud not to be an American male."
I offered her my arm, not sure she would take it. She smiled and wrapped her hand around my arm.
"Thanks." She said as we began to walk towards the restaurant.
