Welcome to Weekend Writing Warriors / Snippet Sunday!

 Where we last left off, Karlea and Armani were drinking from each other...
Armani gently pulled away from her neck as she pulled away from his wrist, both of them using their fingers to wipe the blood off their lips as they faced each other.
Karlea shook her head, "This is my life now."
"Its not so bad." Armani winked; he eyed her torn dress. "As much as I would love to have you running around here naked all the time, you need some new clothes."
"I have clothes, they're in Manhattan." Karlea said with her attitude.
"I'm not taking you back there, just to get your clothes, when I can buy you all new ones."
"Right." She replied, rolling her eyes. 

 Ughh...I wanted to post more, but this is 10 and I have to stop.

    I think Armani doesn't want her running into anyone else while in Manhattan.

      Exactly! And Karlea should be somewhat happy to get things she would never afford on a bartender's salary living in Manhattan, lol. ;)

      He won't take her back to get her stuff, so there's that. And she's not thrilled about people...er, vampires, with money to throw around.
