WeWriWa 1o.24.21

Welcome to Weekend Writing Warriors / Snippet Sunday!

Continuing on where we left off last week, Deputy Miller is in the shop questioning Dennis about where his brother is. The first line is Deputy Miller.

"So you’re not worried?" “No, I’ll let you know when he turns up.” I said. Deputy Miller shook his head and started to walk out. “By the way was the woman that reported, a Donna Singleton?” This time it was Miller’s turn to nod. “Derrick probably got sick of her, she’s a dope fiend, probably just looking for more money from my brother to feed her habit that’s why she’s concerned. Tell your buddy to check on her, I’m sure you’ll find all kinds of things to get her on.” “Thanks for the info,” Miller said, “I’ll pass it on.” I nodded and grinned, “You sure you don’t want that bigger engine?” Miller laughed and waved it off before walking out.

Thanks for reading! You can read more amazing authors here and here.

Enjoy your Sunday!

  1. Sounds like they're getting more comfortable with each other which makes for a stronger partnership (as well as interesting reading!).
